A dump truck dumped river rock.

An oil truck sprayed tar.

The packer went back and forth

The ground got smoother and smoother

Smoother and cooler

A paint truck sprayed yellow lines.

The cars and trucks went back and forth

Back and forth

The road smiled and smiled

Smiled and smiled

The construction workers smiled in their sleep.
